Touring Your Student's Dashboard
Once you click into a student from the Family Dashboard, a left-hand sidebar gives you access to everything about that student's learning: what they're doing today, what they're learning overall, how they're progressing, and how the app is configured for them.
This tour uses a sample student's dashboard to show you each tab.
On this page
Today
The Today tab is where lessons live day to day. Each card shows a lesson's title, estimated time, and status. From here you (or, once invited, the student) can review, launch, or manage what's queued.
Curriculum
Curriculum lists the subjects and skills the student is actively working on, along with a Standards Alignment panel (which frameworks, like Common Core or NGSS, lessons are checked against) and a Quick Update box where you can type a plain-language note, like "focus more on fractions", and have it applied to the settings automatically.
Path
Path shows the ladder of skill units a student will work through in each subject, in order. You can drag units to reorder them, skip ahead, or mark a unit mastered if the student already knows it. This is the same view you'll use to fine-tune a brand-new student's sequence; see From Intake to First Lessons.
Progress
Progress has three sub-tabs.
Reports
A narrative, plain-English summary of the student's week.
Classwork
Stat tiles (lessons completed, total assigned) and a list of individual lessons with their status.
Skills
Progress broken down by individual skill, including mastery percentage.
Profile
Profile holds the student's basic details and, further down, an AI-generated Intake Summary: a short narrative pulled together from their intake interview answers, describing their interests, current academic focus, and learning needs at a glance.
Format
Format controls how lessons are delivered:
- Delivery Mode: Self-Paced (student reads, practices, and quizzes independently), Parent-Led (you teach, student takes the quiz, printable plans), or Hybrid (student reads independently, you review practice together).
- Plan Generation settings: whether lessons need your approval before becoming available, and how many lessons get built per batch (1, 3, or 5).
Accommodations
Accommodations is where supports from the intake interview live day to day: things like a "read lessons aloud" toggle and any learning-difference tags. Scrolling down shows the Active Accommodations currently applied, such as topic preferences or transition support, along with a Save button if you make changes.
